I kind of miss my old ThinkPad, can't recall what happened to it now. I loved playing One Must Fall 2097 on it!

I don't even know how many hours I spent on that game!  It was 15 years before I found out about the secret Jazz Jackrabbit cameo they worked into there.

Man I remember these things, it just never took off did it. I recall watching a few demos using the PhysX cards but they never caught on with people, I think it was a matter of too little too late, game developers and graphics card makers were already surpassing the technology that the PhysX cards offered.

It was a cool ride though.

It did catch on in a way, nVidia bought the tech and integrated it into their gfx cards.

EDIT #2:

Here is a lot containing the Intel version: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Gigabyte-GA-8KNXP-motherboard-ATX-Socket-478-i875P/113669925216?epid=74077005&hash=item1a77416960:g:fRAAAOSwZ65cecNo#viTabs_0

Absolutely! If you have one, do not hesitate to put it in! :D

I have one but apparently it killed about 10 sticks of DDR2 RAM ... and I don't have a compatible CPU. If you know what can he the problem.

EDIT: I have a Penthium D 935 wich according to ASUS website is compatible with my motherboard... just needt to buy a good PSU (because i have some no-named ones but i don't trust them)

Alright, updated chip collection. A lot of these chips are desoldered BGA chips now, and I probably gave myself ten kinds of cancer going at it with a heat gun. Anyways, here ya go:

Wow what a big collection lol

I hope you did that in a well ventilated room and not in a closed bedroom like i did when i solder things
