I'd make that face too if I typo'd the sponsor name - not that "Seasonics™" cares cause they're still getting exposure. :)

inb4 parents visit Linus' house to try to return the stuff. Lol they did check at 7min 50sec into the video. That's hilarious. :D Seriously though, this was one of LTT's better videos, as it was far less scripted and felt way more natural than the usual videos. It was like xmas came early for these kids.

That was unexpected, great video. Had someone given me such a nice gift on Halloween when I was a kid, I am sure my parents would have insisted that I return it and asked me who that person that gave it to me was (or accompany me to see for themselves).

I half expected Colton to show up dressed as a kid to get something because some roasters at Linus' roast joked about his height and said he would probably blend in well with children ;)

Now that is some cool shit. Great idea. I just imagine kids on monday telling this at school and no one believes them. :D

@greenhorn Hmm, since when did we have trick or treaters here? I live right next to vienna, never had a trick or treater at the door in over 40 years besides the kid from our direct neighbour. And he only comes because he knows that we do have a soft spot for him, doesn´t even bother with the other neighbours.

Yes, trick or treating here is not that common here, but it does happen occasionally. I imagine that especially elderly people would be very puzzled if trick or treaters were to come to their houses/apartments.

Well done Linus.

My father was an IT fellow who took me to my first PC swap meet to donate old pc parts to the Boy Scouts (American, dunno if you have em Canadian) the troop leader worked with my father and immediately found out that I didn’t have my own computer. He immediately made me the proud owner of a133mhz comp which escalated exponentially from there.

awesome to see you extending a similar PC olive branch to others. Keep up the excellent work.

That's one location. Here in the states it still seems popular as ever. Even with a pretty large storm and a tornado watch I still ended up handing out 50 pieces of candy, mostly 1 per person.

Cool ideal, but maybe something like a "wheel of luck" to give a little order to what the kids were getting. And if I was Linus, I'd be installing a steel door for next year, 'cause the expectation is now set !!!

In Metro Vancouver it's very dead depending on what neighbourhood you're in. A lot of families just take the kids to the mall, or a lot of neighbourhoods (especially in Vancouver) have aged out. There are some areas that are very popular just because the whole street/neighbourhood might be really into it.

I guess maybe it's just not as popular in Canada as here in the US

Its because vancouver is full of various nationalities that dont do halloween, thats putting multi-nationalism mildly btw

as stated above, but its not just vancouver, toronto, all over canada!

there was a news story about some hippies accidentally giving children weed candy. i thought it wouldnt be hard to back track the 20+ houses and lay criminal charges. not sure what city/country it was in. that is the problem with weed candy and weed food, however im sure its happened more then once for halloween with weed candy. just hope the death toll and er visits are to a minimum with weed foods
