Why is this McDonalds wifi so fast?

That's not that fast.

They pay for better internet than you do.

50Mbps might be basic for many  places, sadly I only have one ISP option and this is the speed I get.

I mean, considering the average in many countries hasn't even hit 20Mbps down yet.... 50 down is pretty fast to the average person.

It's not a bad speed for free, if you live close enough you could probably just use this all the time with a VPN, I know I would with those speeds.

for a free public wifi, thats not bad. but no where near fast. the real speed of a wifi depends on your client devices. some high end phones have mimo dual antenna wifi, can go up to 600mbps.

why everybody post the spec of their rig here? i dont! cuz its made of mashed potatoes!
