not really, the txm kinda is a cx 2017 with gold certification, can be a bit on the louder side

but both are good choices, made by FSP for be quiet and Greatwall for Corsair

I got Pure Power 11 400W and it's so quiet, filled my case with Noctua fans, run my GPU fanless and loudest thing in my PC is HDD, that's how quiet Pure Power 11 is, 10 also shouldn't be much louder, only got 11 over 10 because only 5 euros difference, but def getting full modular PSU for the looks when I end up needing more Watts, Straight Power or maybe this new V series from Cooler Master, heard they are also rly quiet

@jonnyGURU how do you feel about Apevia power supplies? A few years ago I bought into the mentality that the PSU is a good thing to cheap out on to save money, big mistake even on moderate load. I can't really seem to find many reviews outside Amazon's 5 star "works great!" or 1 star "It sucks!" and they actually have lots of different products but they all cost very little for what they claim to offer.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

They used to use Wintech and Youngyear, but they're out of the business.  I think they use RSY a bit these days.  But some of the stuff is Dear, Leadman rebadges, etc.

Also according to Seasonic their double 8 pins PEG cables should be used with a graphics card with a max power consumption till 225W. Which is quite low for a 550W power supply.

Because there would be so much current going through the one cable / PSU side connector.

https://knowledge.seasonic.com/article/8-installation-remark-for-high-power-consumption-graphics-cards

Seasonic doesn’t say you “can’t” use the single cable, they just recommend using seperate. This should be the same for every manufacturer.

If this is an issue to anyone, there are four or five spare PCIe ports on the PSU... just buy another cable, or ask Seasonic for one.

There are is only a 8+6 pcie-cable in a 550W psu. 8pin is rated for 150W and 6pin for 75W, wow like in the spec sheet of the connectors. Its funny to see a backlash 16 months after they fixed it in production models :D

Can't go by the FE reviews, same mistake a lot of people make, the aftermarket cards pull a lot more power, especially OCed And high end cards even more.

Some of them can easily pull 350W.
