I got the same result. Besides, I had unplugged everything except the PSU cord.

If your head isn't too large and you;re okay with a worse microphone (or know how to use an equalizer), the HS50 is a great option for the $25 it regularly runs on Amazon. Definitely better-sounding than the HyperX Clouds (which suffer distorted bass and a big sibilant resonance in the mid treble).

HS50 is a pretty solid headset for it's price point, and is the one I use along side an HS70 headset.  I'd recommend visiting a local retailer with one on display to try out because everyone's acoustic preference can differ greatly.  Another option depending on where you live, and if you visit gaming trade shows, we technically have booths with most of our headsets on demo for visitors to listen to.

I dont care for the sound quality of the hs50 at all. Kind of like the cloud, cloud 2, lacking low end punch and lacking high end clarity to a lesser extent. The hyperX cloud alpha sounds better than both just slightly and the hyperX revolver sounds way better than any corsair headphone and is the best hyperX headset. Id get the hyperX cloud revolver. Better highs, mids, thumping yet clean bass. Better mic than all those too and can pick it up for $100 or less. It does have the different style headband some like, some don't. I like it. Its far better quality than hs50 or cloud 2.  If you want cheap, get the hyperX cloud stinger. $50 
This is all only if you insist on a gaming headset. You could pick up the audio Technica ad700x for less than a hundred and have an awesome headphone. Id pay a few dollars more and get the ad900x plus a cheap mic. You could get one of the audio technicas and a cheap mic for under $100. If you dont like the headband design then look at the philips shp9500 plus a cheap mic

Stick with hyper x

I was able to get the key from my Microsoft account!

I use an i7 7500U which is another 2c/4t like most and yes it's perfectly enough for the tasks, just not the most ideal... A Pentium however is too much of a step down.
 
The laptop I bought also originally had just 4gb of memory, for private usage it was doable but for work with multiple instances of Microsoft Office application open along side web browsing and photo editing programs it wasn't enough... was forced to up it to 8gb of memory.

You can also do session splitting across multiple WANs to split the load, there's different ways of doing it and some are rather basic but at least you don't have to create explicit rules for traffic. You can combine both methods together as well.

welp, only one way to find out really. wait untill summer and see what temperatures you're getting.
there's really no way to say for sure you need more fans right now.

What motherboard? It's usually 2 and 4, but look at your motherboard's manual it should mention exactly what you're looking for

I assume that it might affect loading the desktop initially as it needs to load all the thumbnails/icons (Shouldn't be a lot though)

Yes, I'm using a Thermaltake Core V1 case, it comes with motherboard standoffs

He can use a cheap WiFi adapter off eBay for around $5, but they top out at 150mbps so, it's your choice.
 
But I recommend, find the model number of the chip, Google it and buy it. Use a repair guide from iFixit, which you can find here, and replace it. Simple to follow along and gives you some DIY knowledge.

By making partitions you might run into issues in the long run, for example you filled up your D drive but still have lot of unused space in C, or vice versa (The latter being worse) and you won't be able to reallocate space from one drive to another

Literally just use folders in windows.

Ah, I don't think Ubiquiti is popular there, that's why the high price.
 
A controlled (managed) router is managed through a software controller / hardware controller. It's great for having a single program to manage a lot of devices (also for statistics), but it's not needed in your case.
 
The TP Link should do it.

License key is bundled with mobo, the key will automatically activate when installing Windows
