Router with two WAN ports?

Vishvas Sudarshan

In our office we have two ISPs, primary and a backup

I want to router that has two WAN ports, is should connect all the LAN devices to the primary ISP, in case the primary goes down, it should switch to the backup without me doing anything

Are such routers available?

If so, could you name any? 100Mbps in good enough

Edit: I want to set Static IPs for each WAN

The Edgerouter X is the cheapest one I can think of that can pull this off. Else, Edgerouter Lite, and Edgrouter 4 are also options.

If you wanted a controlled router, the USG works just fine for this.

I was searching around for such routers and found this https://www.amazon.in/TP-Link-TL-R470T-5-port-Balance-Broadband/dp/B005SYQBN8/

The price difference between this and the Edgerouter X is HUGE, am I missing something or will the TP Link one get the job done?

And sorry for my lack of knowledge, but what does a controlled router do?

I don't need any complex networking setup, all PCs should have a network connection, that's it

Two ISPs -> Router -> Switch -> PCs

Ah, I don't think Ubiquiti is popular there, that's why the high price.

A controlled (managed) router is managed through a software controller / hardware controller. It's great for having a single program to manage a lot of devices (also for statistics), but it's not needed in your case.

The TP Link should do it.
