better price to performance for last gen, no longer applies with the 4090, better colors by default (though u can mess around in nvidia settings), bad ultrawide support, worse drivers overall (be prepare to troubleshoot, it's a guarantee).
 
wait for rdna3 for the price to performance to flip again. For all the unfair crap the 4090 gets it's really the new 1080ti, but rdna3 is rumored to beat it by a good margin in rast

In the last video Linus said it would be coming back, now I assume those videos are a couple of weeks old at least, but they aren't in stock, and I don't remember them being in stock the pas few months, unless they got sold out real quick. So are they actually coming or not?

Everything I've ever purchased from an EU country has had insane shipping costs. Looking at things like bookshelf speakers, added 100s$ to shipping to Canada. Why do you think you're justified in giving a 1/5 stars on a product you didn't buy?

Did Linus promote Vanced just to get it under the limelight enough for Google to take action against them? Just like what happened to that light weight windows project that got shut down when LTT talked about it.

Sponsorblock has become so essential to my Youtube viewing that even if I had YouTube Red, I still would not want to stop using Youtube Vanced. It's one of the few reasons I am still using an Android phone over an iPhone.

I mean, when most people carry a phone that can double as a portable hotspot anyway, I fail to see the point. Probably cheaper to go this route as well.

Right, it seems like every day someone talks about wanting more transparency and more humanity vs. corporate PR spin and vagueness. It doesn't look like Linus is here talking as CEO of LMG, he's talking as Linus. He's a member of the forum speaking his mind just like everybody else. I don't agree with all of his actions either, but I don't even agree with all of my own actions let alone anybody else. It's refreshing, and it lets us form an opinion on what his actual opinion is (whether that opinion is positive or negative) instead of forming an opinion on what we think his ulterior motives are or what he thinks he should be saying vs. what he wants to say.

For me the fact Linus and his team make mistakes just proofs why i still like their content: They're human and their videos feel a lot more personal than other media. (At least at the moment) they're not my first choice for product reviews, but their content is without a doubt entertaining. So for me their videos have value. That might change when the lab is up and running, but i will evaluate that for myself once that content is here.

Fission reactors are perfectly safe and large plants are reliable and the most green power generation we currently have. 

Like Mendicant so helpfully said — the issue with fusion energy is not its safety. It's the sheer technical challenge of providing fusion power that can sustain whole cities. This effort is a significant step forward, but I agree with other that it could be decades before fusion is practical. Right now the best energy solution is likely a combo of renewables with small-but-relatively-safe nuclear reactors.

oh nice move, suggest that instead of someone replacing something that broke on something they wanted, they buy a diffrent thing from somewhere else.
