Ok, yeah yeah, this is a tech forum, whatever, this is off topic.

 

I just need to share my feelings/my slightly odd dream.

 

Backstory

 

So I like this girl, but, there are a few problems.

1. she is a grade above me

2. I never have enough confidence to ask a girl out.

So that second thing, thats a real problem with me. I can never work up the courage to acutaly ask a girl out. I have liked a few girls, but never done anything about it. I just can never do it.

And this girl I like, i seem to like more than the other girls that i have liked.

And she seems to like me, but I dont know if she just likes me as a friend, or more.

I know her as she is on my ski team.

 

Dream

 

So, i had an odd dream last night. It wasnt your average girl dream, it was different.

It was me and the girl, and we were planning on moving to Venice, Canada (ik, not a real place, venice is in italy, but this is a dream, so...) together.

It was very nice, and comforting, just to have somone I love that loves me back.

It was just a great dream.

 

 

Now I dont know what I want you people to say, i just needed to share all this.

Ask her out if you like her man.

Judging by that you're still young, just go for it.

Nobody is going to care if you get rejected other than you and her.

If she makes a big deal about it, then you can find a way to ruin her as well (or just report her ass for bullying)

 

But judging by that you like her, I don't think she's going to be a bad person in general.

Just go and ask her out.

 

 

And this is pretty off-topic, but I believe that some dreams (the dreams you get while sleeping) come true to a certain extent. I've had a dream once of me acing a test once, and it really happened. I don't know.

IMO Asking people out in high school is not worth it. Like .001% of them go anywhere, and if you do something like asking out someone older the backlash from it could be huge

IMO Asking people out in high school is not worth it. Like .001% of them go anywhere, and if you do something like asking out someone older the backlash from it could be huge

but it gives them highschoolers experience with dating

I get it, I really do.

 

Back in highschool I had a similar situation, with a fairly similar dream, just me and my highschool sweetheart out camping, and just relaxing. That was when I realized that I had feelings for her deeper than just, "Eh shes kinda hot, and a cool friend." Long story short, I waited too long, found out too late she loved me, but gave up because I waited too long. she had thought I didn't feel the same way. We went together to senior prom, but it was too little, too late. She married my best friend two months after that. So YEA.

 

Waiting seems like a natural thing to do when you're scared, and we all do it, at least a little. but don't let that waiting ruin what would be an amazing time. If she likes you as a friend, then she already likes you for some reason, and take it from me. The best people to date, are friends, cause you already know about their personality, and they already like you to some degree. Love and friendliness are two sides of the same coin.
