Would you consider the Corsair Scimitar if it didnt have that Yellow bit

Inheritance

No, Roccat has me covered for all my gaming mice needs. On a side note I do think Corsair makes nice looking functional mice.

MMO mice are just high DPI laser sensors strapped under a rounded shape with too many buttons and a giant price tag. I'll pass thanks.

I object! :D

I love my mouse!

I got it in a lot lower price than it usualy sells for so it was worth every penny I would say.

MMO isn't worth it unless if you actually play MMO games like LoL or whatever other games there are.  So no, I wouldn't get it.  If you want yellow get something from the Zowie FK series :D

Can't you just get those keypads its said to be $70-$80 which is halirous because you can get a Logitech G600 or UtechSmart Venus for $30-$40 cheaper

Lol what about when you can grab a Naga for 35 dollars on black Friday? Besides at least the Naga and now this mouse use sensors without acceleration. (Although PTE does take some getting used to).

"Productivity" workstation mice also have lots of buttons, and cost substantially more than mmo mice while not really having any advantage (outside of the less "gamery" look.)

But yes at full price they are way too expensive.

Lasers have acceleration by design so it still exists it's just less apparent. 35 dollars is pretty good though.

If I ever was to pick one up, I would paint the yellow bit black. Its nothing some careful masking and some spray paint couldn't fix.

Can't those buttons be programed and work with certain programs. If yes then set each button for some windows commands or keyboard short cuts on the programs you use the most. Mice with lots of buttons doesn't mean it's only for MMOs, you can use it for other programs too.

I accidentally click the back/forward buttons on my g400s and they are out of the way, I can't imagine how many missclicks I would make (make a missclick / do a missclick???) with a MMO mouse.

I mean, I prefer my mice to have fewer buttons. There are already plenty on the keyboard itself, and I would lose track of what I had bound to each button on the mouse... So I'll stick with my G502/Sensei setup (and yes, they are both on my desk and plugged in... I haven't decided which I like the best as of yet...).
