Spider in computer.

cacra

So, long story short, I have a spider in my computer - im pretty sure it climbed inside my PSU, but it could be anywhere. If i turn my computer on will it electrocute the spider or damage my computer in any way?

No just ignore it, it'll find its way out.

That is what I am worried about.

Run prime 95 and furmark, and disable all your fans.

I think you can also try Aida64, and the XTU stress test. Try OCing your CPU a little further. Got 3DMark? Turn Firestrike extreme on. Run Unigine Valley and Unigine Heaven. GeekBench is great too. And lastly, play a long game of Crysis 3.

How big is said spider?

Absolutely huge, it had hairs and everything.

Run prime 95 and furmark, and disable all your fans.

The computer doesn't turn boot, it only turns on - i was just about to make a thread about it.

Put your fans on low, and run Prime95 + Furmark. When it smells like it's cooked medium rare, eat it and post some pics doing so.

Well i turned it on and it ran out - it is now splattered on my wall after my dog decided she didn't want to eat it. Wish I got a cat!

Will post the dead spider to the highest bidder, cooking is optional.

Your computer is infected now, sorry but you will have to bury it.

burn it*

He could do both. Burn it first then;

drop it in a forty-three-foot hole in the ground

Bury it completely; rocks and boulders should be fine

Then burn all the clothes you may have worn any time you were online!
