Frames or Graphics

ManOfDisguise

Depends on game for me. If its a nice looking SP game I just turn everythign up. If its say CS"GO then everything to the lowest(im using a gtx 770) because 60fps in GO is TERRIBLE.

Specs of my PC:

CPU: AMD FX 8350  Motherboard: Gigabyte 990XA UD3  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770 Windforce 2GB  HDD: WD Green 2TB SSD:  Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD RAM: Corsair 8GB(2X4) PSU: CoolerMaster G650M

50 to 80 is insane smooth so I don't see where the sacrifice is by choosing graphics and that amount of frames per sec

Bigger question is would you accept 30 to 40 steady with everything jacked up or want 60+ with less eye candy?

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

You don't understand what makes framerate look smooth, and that is relative to movement. since you dont understand that. you cant understand that even 10000000fps will be benefitial.

It depends on the settings. Some are worth the performance. All relative to what framerate I am already getting

I guess it depends on if its either a singleplayer or online experience. Mostly always FPS over graphics for me anyways.

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

60 fps is good enough for me, but I'd go for the max graphics at 30 fps.

I hate it when games drop below 60 fps because the stuttering is insane. Not having that happen, won't mind it though if it's only for a second or two because something like a ton of explosions went on. I don't like graphics that much O.o Then again I'm not going to play Crysis 3 on my computer either.

I always cap my games to 60fps anyway, so I chose option 2.

I find anything from 40+ extremely playable, so graphics are my main focus.

I am an absolute sicker when it comes to graphics, I love them. The majority of games I will max out even with a big performance hit.

But your PC can handle it...

Even my PC can play Crysis 3 on low settings 1440X900 [How i play all the games]

I play at 1080p, for some reason Catalyst and my monitor work together to ruin any lower resolution so they just stretch the image no matter what I try.

Oh, i play @ 1440X900 cos my monitor is 1680X1050, the resolution must be the same aspect ratio to avoid stretching, mine is 16:10, yours is 16:9

I know that, but if I play at say 1600x900 or 1280x720 it just stretches the sides and there's these massive black bars on the top and bottom.

I even had Crysis 3 and BF4 fully maxed out on my 660 Ti, 1920x1200 res. Only toned down a little on the AA. If the framerate remains at 30 fps, it's OK, IMO.
