After Thai boys were rescued from the cave everyone is happy except Elon Musk (update: Elon apologizes)

I think Elon Musk is a cool guy but I think he's in the wrong in this one. It absolutely makes sense to use tried and true scuba gear instead of a hastily put together "mini submarine" that probably only had a couple of days of testing and with the tight bends and corners a rigid cylinder getting stuck is a valid concern. Also making unsubstantiated claims that someone is a pedo is never the correct move. This seems like a bid for good PR and technology just for the sake of technology. With people's lives at stake neither of those sentiments should be entertained.

Either way I would rather put my life in the hands of certified divers with hundreds of hours... vs a relatively untested submarine.

I don't agree with the diver when he claims Elon only did it for a PR Stunt and with his use of language "stick his submarine where it hurts" as if he was trying to get a rise out of Elon. But Elon's reaction is certainly far worse, you can't be calling people pedos

Musk is a fucking joke and the more he opens his mouth the more everyone realises it.

Calling someone due to being angry is not the same as claiming they are an actual pedo.
