probably a combination of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 for the PC and whatever demo was playing on the consoles in Walmart

Insanity is not the absence of sanity, but the willingness to ignore it for a purpose. Chaos is the result of this choice. I relish in both.

The Nintendo 64 was my first ever gaming console (even if I was born 5 years after it's release) but my first ever true gaming experience where I did something other than mash buttons was New Super Mario for the DS on my extremely breakable DS Lite.

It started with my older sister's SEGA (Sonic) and PS1 (Crash bandicoot). Then I got the old 1989 Gameboy from my cousin. After that, I went to the PS2 & PS3 until I ascended to the PCMR because of the desillusion that was the """""""""""""next gen"""""""""""""" consoles. Diablo 3 is the main reason why I got a PC actually. Great memories

I'd rather know the 1st gaming 'community' people were apart of. Gaming opened my eyes only so much. Online Communities is really what blew my mind.

Mine was when my mother bought me my first PS2 and a copy of Ratchet and Clank 3.

One of my best memories. :D

N64 and PC games for kids.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Being six years old an playing a game like that....so much getting my butt owned.

This the one though, that got me into RPG type games:

Who here remember having a high dislike of that stupid rat in the first area.

Console stuff and handhels - Original Gameboy with that amazing dotmatrix screen. :) First games I played on it were Metroid II Return of Samus, Super Mario Land 2 6 golden Coins, Donky Kong, and Tetris :) Love those games. Then it was a super nintendo, and a gameboy advance :)

For PC it was probably Pajama Sam on a Pentium 3 pc running Windows ME I got from my uncle :)

A light blue Nintendo DS Lite was my introduction to gaming.

I remember stuffing around on Brain Training and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness, but I what I really wanted was Pokemon HeartGold ...

I think my first PC game was some 'Cars' racing game lol

Pokémon.

it was magical. Playing as a kid going on a Pokémon adaventure, it was so magical....

i still feel the magic even as an adult.

None of the triple a games had the same magical feelings.

My first game experience was probably something I played with my parents as a little kid(or infant, whichever you prefer).

My first video game I actively played was probably Space Cadet Pinball on Windows XP.

GameBoy Advance SP, but what really did it was the DS Lite.

The specific game that did it was Star Trek Tactical Assault

My first gaming capable thing (and device/hardware) was an AMD Athlon (either Classic or Thunderbird) equipped desktop. My mother had retired it and decided that she would give it to me (who was only a toddler). Apart from the athlon sticker (and the beige case), I don't remember anything else about it as I was only 3-5 years old at the time.

Fun fact: My sister also got her own machine as well. My mother's old laptop :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Not sure what the first game I played was but I assume it was either Super Mario World or Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past, and ever since then I've liked games

Anyway I received a hand-me-down SNES with both those games, pretty sure Zelda was the first one but its hard to say.
