If you have a complaint, concern or question about any moderator action that has been taken against you, please send a PM to me, @Whiskers and/or the moderator in question, and we will gladly discuss it. All complaints about moderation that I have been made aware of have either been completely unfounded or the result of misunderstandings or miscommunication, but if there was a case of moderator abuse then we would consider that to be a serious problem, and deal with it accordingly.   C

The best thing about the experience was they paid for 2 night air shipping with UPS both ways whereas most RMAs you have to pay shipping TO them first.

Picked mine up now.. It looks somehow better than I remember.. Smells like they have blown it with all their air dryers tho but.. Outside that I can't wait to try it at home 😁👌

 

This place used to not have the best experiences, but I'm glad the store has improved 🙂

This new Profile ranking system makes no sense. Can someone explain to me how I leveled up from "Newbie" to "Experienced" by just posting one Status Update and a few replies ? Or is it like actually based on much I've posted over the years and it just had to adjust to that.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

 

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

It calculates existing content towards the ranks.

Buttons work on the G7 and the screen isnt flickering.. for now..

 

Hoping thats the end of this.

 

They said it was warranty and it better be seeing samsung has 2 years and norway has 5 years on almost all electrionics!

Cant wait to try playing games on 1440p, 1080p was so bad but.. Oh man ive missed having a bigger resolution.

Just got mine back, pretty sure they replaced my mainboard as well since my Firmware went from the lates 1011 back to 1010. My repair slip just says Defective Part Replacement, but that makes sense since display port 1 was dead.

work on linux HW nope

spend time getting random things on my linux laptop to be how I want, sure I can carve an hour or 2 out

It really depends on the distro you go with, Mint is very popular for good reason because it's more like Windows than any other, except maybe the one I'm running now (Peppermint) and that's debateable TBH.

I'm also setting up another machine with Peppermint for some streaming on Twitch later, when I do some of my XOC stuff live.
The Ln2 will be flowin when I do that.
I'm certain Peppermint itself will do the job just fine, I'm more worried about my hardware being up to task but I "Think" I've got this.

I'm on Ubuntu for my laptop while all my IT class stuff is on Oracle in VMs
