pre COVID it was pretty good but now they've cut costs so food quality is down

Indomie stands for Indonesia Mee (Mee means noodle, in case people doesn't know), not Malaysian

 

But honestly I never ate non-instant indomie that is like the instant ones, they're a kind of food on their own

Have you tried the Ibumie brand? I prefer that over other brand of mi goreng

i dont know if it is, i never had one

but noodles in sweet soy sauce and garlic/sasame oil is a very asian thing to do, Chinese have Wan ton mee, which is just a different type of noodle, seasoned with sweet soy sauce and oil (pork oil for better taste)
