For what it's worth, at least WoT doesn't require you to use premium ammo like some other games (not naming any names).

You haven't played the game much, have you? Without premium ammo, you're stuck with shit tier tanks and ammo that does fuck all. With premium ammo, you get to play with a half decent tank after a few hundred matches.
