How old is that drive?

I have a conner HD that was built 27 years ago....and still in functional condition

how cute ;)   i think those required a special controller?  IIRC it was neither IDE or MFM.  Or was it?

This guys, is probably one of the most rare computers ever. This is the only one to still exist (from my knowledge), it's an Austin Rover diagnostics PC from about the 80's/ early 90's and what a beauty she is...

I believe this is the oldest part I have laying around, using it to test my diy vertical gpu bracket. Radeon HD5770 1gb, decent card in its day and still works well

Radeon heatsinks from back in the day were kind of weird looking lol.

Also, that paint job on the case is great, did you do it yourself?

Your guess is as good as mine. Came out of an old Sharp laptop with a 7MHz Motorola CPU and maxed out at 640KB of RAM. Can't be bothered to unbury it and see when the BIOS date was to ballpark it.

I honestly don't know, but I do know that it plugged into a board (assumingly the controller) which then plugged into the laptop's mainboard.

It has red led lighting as well as the front panel being an infinity mirror. Working with InWin on my new 1950x build so this thing will just sit in the closet until I have time to mess with it

Unfortunately because this PC is so rare the specs of it are unknown, I've searched it up on Google and while Crypton does still exist nothing about this machine is listed only one result comes up about it and it's a forum thread from about 2006 asking what this machine was. Apart from that, nothing is relevant so you'd have to do a full strip down of it to see what specs it has.

Here is a Kohjinsha SA1FO from 2007 (looks much older).

Here are the specs:

Single-Core AMD Geode running at 512MHZ or so with integrated graphics

512MB DDR1 ram (I'm fairly sure it's not DDR2)

60GB Hard drive (I dunno the RPM)

1x USB 1.0 type A port, 1x USB 2.0 type A port, 1x VGA port & 1x Ethernet port.

The keyboard fell out, and I lost it. It didn't work before it fell out anyways.

Running Windows XP.

I found those two things (I have no idea what to call them) on that Dell Socket PGA478 Motherboard from 2000 (at least that's what the northbridge says). I have no idea what they are, so if anyone knows, that would be neat.
