I have 2 laptops, both very old, but the older one rocks a AMD Turion, forgot the exact processor model, also, it included 1GB or DDR RAM, mind you DDR is very old, also it has a 60GB IDE drive. talk about old hardware, lolz.

My current laptop has a Celeron-Dual core T3500 @2.1GHz with 4GB of DDR2 RAM @399MHz, with a 500GB SATA HDD @5400RPM and has a intel GMA4500M graphics chipset, I play League of Legends with this, getting only about 5-30FPS depending on scene complexity at the lowest settings @720P. PS: I lose because this shitty laptop drops a lot of frames from time to time and the entire game is filled with microstutters. This is what happens when your parents don't buy you anything :'( #sadlyf

And about more older hardware, I still have a 1GB pendrive from Transcend, don't remember the model. And 2 SD cards(the regular camera SD cards), one being 128KB and the other being 16KB only.

I also have a Samsung Galaxy S2 GTi-9100, worked until about 3-4 days ago, it suddenly went into a bootloop, trying to bring it back to life.

I have more older hardware, but forgot the models and everything, so no use mentioning I guess.

Except for the Galaxy S2, everything is still in pretty good condition :D

I use a Galaxy S3 as my phone haha.

Hoping it can hold out until I can afford a real upgrade...

Mine is almost pristine. The battery is slowly going to crap though...

I've replaced this battery once, just gonna tough it out until I get one of the newer models(hoping to get an S8 or S9).

The thing needs to be put on airplane mode just to last overnight. Also the low amount of RAM is a real pain.

I feel you bro, as I mentioned above, I have a horrible daily driver laptop, so I know what people go through when they say their hardware sucks. Like I actually do so much multitasking and etc in my laptop, I think it would live 20 years more if someone else were to use it and take care of it as much as I did in all these years.

I don't do that much multitasking on my laptop. The only problem I have with it is battery life, and the WLAN adapter is startign to go bad.

Got my IIGS running Gold Rush.  It's funny how many millenials at work tell me there's no such thing as an Apple IIGS.    They will tell me...  "apple made the original iphone, 3G, 3GS, and the 4.  They never made a 2GS"...  and then I show them this.

working on my new over-the-top 486 build.  The IBM 5170 i've been using, while iconic, doesn't have the horsepower required to run a lot of games made in the late 80s and early 90s.

AMD-DX4100 wedged into an XT desktop clone case.

64mb RAM...  yes  megabytes.  1/1000th of what is in my gaming rig

AWE32 + Roland Soundcanvas SC88Pro

Vesa Local Bus VGA and IO

Vesa Local Bus SCSI controller

15k RPM SCSI drive... total overkill for a 486/VLB system!

So far it's been a pain in the ass.

  • Build quality on the new-old-stock XT clone chassis is garbage, i had to source a half dozen different types of screws to make everything work.
  • Not having Plug and Play is a mess when you're cramming this variety of peripherals into a box.  I've had to hunt down manuals and make many, many jumper setting changes just to get it to POST.
  • You need adapters for everything!
  • Dealing with DOS 6.22 and the limitations of FAT16 are killing me.  I might have to break down and use Win98SE command.com and fdisk to get FAT32 support for this drive.

No description needed...

It's a pentium, and one of those processors that were inserted in slots, and were already soldered on PCB, I have one of these.

Just picked up a pile of 3COM 3C509 16-bit ISA NICs.  Got tired of using 1.44mb floppies (most of which are on borrowed time, i've had many fail after just a couple of read/writes), and got mbrutman's mTCP stack up and running.  DHCP and FTP from DOS!
