Thank you,

I think it is the integrated one, but there's another on there[cnet like 4 different models].  I'll have to check when I boot it up later.  xD  Cuz the link in my sig might be the wrong one.  I just know the processor is a Pentium 4.

Mine had a ATi X800GT

(can't stop saying it :D)

Here's the story.

I got an old crap pc from my father when he moved offices. He found it in his storage closet, and I believe at some point it was the server for his website. It was super dusty and chances are it's probably just totally toasted (every single component) but I am just trying to set it up as a super basic PC for watching movies and stuff.

Specs:*

Pentium (idkwhich) 2.0Ghz

WD1200 caviar enhanced IDE HDD 120gb (possibly replace with a wd green drive)

1 gb of ddr2 ram (idk what kind or speed or anything, because I can't even BIOS.) hys72t64000hu-3.7-b

(I can upgrade that to 2 gb for 9 bucks, or 4 for 18, so this is changeable)

basically, the HDD spins up, the led flashes, and then nothing. no output to the monitor. no anything really.

I am trying to fix this up.

Plz, if anyone knows anything about this hardware, I would love it if they would just drop a comment.

just like a basic media pc hopefully. I am NOT going to overclock, and i am probably just going to hook it up for things like document editing, internet browsing, music, and movies. EDIT: i might put some emulators on it as well. NES, SNES and gameboy type stuff.

I currently own four Nvidia 8800GT/9800GT graphics cards for some weird reason. I dont know how I got them because I have no use for them but I could try a SLI setup for the fun of it.

So my dad has worked in IT all his life, so I've always had old parts lying around.

One of my first computers had a pentium 3, and windows 95.

I still run a linux server with a cor 2 duo, and 4 gb or ddr 2 800, which I overclocked to about 915. (FSB overclock) (and the stupid motherboard dosn't boot of usb, so I still have to burn CDs, and wait a day and a half for them to load in the molasse slow IDE cd drive. (and its hilarious, 'cause I have a 64gb ssd for a boot drive))

I still have a dell Latitude D630, with a core 2 duo, and 8gb of ram as my regular laptop.

And, I have an old IBM Thinkpad T42 with a pentium 3 mobile edition, and 1gb of ram, running linux as a backup somewhere.

Also, I have the first MacBook Pro from like 2002 with a ufi loader, and linux mint on it, just for kicks and giggles to show my apple fan boy freinds. (they get really freaked out when text flys down the screen when it boots! :D

I also still have data over 10 years old sitting on various IDE drives around my room.

My proudest moment as a kid was overclocking a pentium 4 to just a little over 4Ghz.
