A couple Windows XP bricks, Compaq Presario V5000 and Dell Inspiron B130.

If I had power cords for both, I'm fairly certain they would still work. I'm currently messing with a slightly newer laptop, though.

I have a very similar case from Lian Li of all companies...

 

Mine houses two 80 or 90mm fans in the front, though.

That's not bad!

 

I've got a literal stack of DDR memory and 3 systems that will make use of it. I haven't toyed with overclocking on any of them, since I don't completely trust the PSUs to hold up.

Until about ~2 years ago, I had excess ram for those cards. A move to my new house and they went poof!

To be fair they usually go poof on their own.  

 

Do you know how hard it is to troubleshoot which chip is bad out of 72?

Today I had free time and decided to dig trough some of the things I have. So here's what I found.

Three AGP GPUs

The red one is ATi Radeon 9200SE 128MB, from the other two - the one with the fan is nVidia GeForce 2 MX-400 64MB and the othe on is nVidia GeForce 4 MX 440 64MB. All of them work, well the GF2 has a problem - it's either overheating or dieing.

Three SDRAM PC133

The bottom one doesn't work (tested it in the motherboard that is next). The other 2 work.

And here is the motherboard I mentioned - ASUS TUSL2-C

And here is the CPU - Intel Celeron 1GHz - getting ready for the cooler

I decided to test it. Plugged in the essential things, pressed the power button and it works.

So I decided to put it in a case, since I had one that was empty. And I slapped it together.

At first I was using the GF2 MX400, but as I already mentioned something is wrong with it, so I swapped it with the GF4 MX440. Put the fan from the GF2 on the GF4, but the metal thing that holds the card (forgot the name of it ) doesn't fit, and the GPU is hust handing on the slot. The PSU is barely mounted with 2 screws and the moterboard is held in place by 3 screws and it's not moving so it's good. I have a HDD for this PC, but I forgot to get it today, so I'll probably get it next Saturday.

It actually looks way better in the picture than in real life.

I decided to see if I could OC the CPU. So I entered the BIOS, chose the fastes possible speed and it works without problems.

In these 3 pictures I'm using MiniXP from Hiren's Boot CD since there's no HDD. Couldn't check temps so I put it back on stock speed for now. When I have free time I will OC and test it more.

When I put a HDD in it I will install some wold version of Windows. I haven't decided yet since I have a Windows 98SE machine and a XP machine. I might put Windows ME on this one. What do you think? Or Windows 2000 be better?

@dsv1999That is a nice system you have there. And those Tulatin processors where (and still is) awesome.
