what keyboard do you have?

you might be able to disable it in software or with a special key.

You can try some key remapper

My G610 has a button to disable the Windows key. Although I never need it really lol.

 

Probably some remapper should do the trick

However you should first talk to him, in an affirmative manner, explain to your friend how you feel about what your friend is doing. Then explain the consequences if he were to do it again.
