Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

@vetali since you’re the Honda expert, and idea what would cause the accord to have a driveline-esc vibration under hard acceleration only? It’s normal with slow acceleration and cruising, deceleration.

im thinking motor/transmission mounts, but I’m not sure.

Rdit: and it’s the whole car that shakes, not just the steering wheel.

Can't really say without feeling it for myself.

I know know new Infiniti Qx80’s still have it... which is weird to me. Our 2015 does and as far as I can tell new ones do too

My coworker likes to shit on other people's cars. He drives a Lexus is250 awd. Thinks he can beat Corvettes and wrx's that are currently year and thinks he can beat my stage 2+ gti and basically any focus st or my ecoboost mustang. -_- bro your car only has 260hp and 230tq at the crank weighs 3800lbs and has a shitty conventional automatic. Runs a 15 second 1/4 mile and does 0-60 in 7 seconds. Your not beating any of these cars.

I don't really street race tbh. An once rolling when I was in Mexico I got up to 100 too damn quick for street roads. Lol

Edit: only Lexus that can hang or beat me right now is the 350/actual ISF. After I get the K04 turbo ISF stock won't be able to beat it. That being said my co worker also thought the ISF gained 100hp from just full bolt ons. No N/A Lexus makes 100hp from intake exhaust and a tune. ???? said he wanted to race for pinks.....my garage could use another car for a daily driver.

Story gets worse...looked up the specs the is250 fsport makes only 206hp and 198tq at the wheels before the awd kills what little power it had. I'm telling him to meet at the track and bring a few thousand dollars to bet on.

Leafs have ridiculously nice interior have to say. Warmest seat heaters of all the cars I've ever drove in. It goes Leaf > Land Cruiser > Mini Cooper Works > Toyota Echo > 407.

Absolutely fucked off with my Peugeot atm. It's all falling to pieces quite literally. Heater flap has packed in leaving my with constant AC only on my feet, and the centre console lid is permanently up and I have to stick it down. Karma at work here.

He talks soooooooooooooo much shit about it. Tomorrow I'm just going to say dude 0-60 in 7.2 seconds and a 15.2 1/4 mile your not even worth the premium gas in my car to run. Watch out for modded Civic si's they will pull you hard. Not sure where you beat a stage 2 wrx anything it a 300hp Corvette. XD

Another thing about the Ford Focus stuff I was talking about the other day, honestly I looked into it and frankly. It doesn't seem insurance would be earth shatteringly more expensive on a V6 Dodge Charger and I'm seeing some 2015 and 2016 Chargers only going for like $2,000-$3,000 more than a Focus Titanium.

So I mean, if I can't find a focus titanium. I might be able to find a SXT Charger for just a touch more

I can't race with my Peugeot unfortunately. It is a 100Kw turbo-diesel, still runs well and pulls hard with 340nm torque, but its around 9s 0-60. Well, at least no premium gas lol. Thinking when I get the money might buy an old civic or accord, or whatever the sports one is, integra I think? They are going on me, either that or an Impreza.

yeah .. people like him is why i want a big wagon that looks way heavier than it is and with decent power and handling

My 1st taste of that was when my dad in an 1989 audi 100 with an NA 2.3 i5 (like 135hp iirc ) and the quattro awd just walk away from a e46 320i ? (i just remember that it was a new ish at the time 320i) who was revving at the lights  .... i need to add that it was the middle of winter and the audi also had studded tires on what basically was snow and ice :D

it happened when my age was in singe digits ... so all i remember was what cars were involved and the fact that i was just getting pushed into the seat and heard the redline of a sweet bmw i6 getting more distant by the second

god i wish we still had that audi ... thing was amazing in the winter

It's going to suck for a lot of people once I get my K04 installed. Hell it sucks for a lot of people now just being stage 2+ on my GTI. Why he thinks it's faster then his fox body mustang with the carb'd 5.0 with full bolt ons and gears idk.?

TBH I'd approach it from a different standpoint and let him know what sets your car apart from his, in terms of aftermarket parts. His car probably is faster if your golf / civic was stock, he'd probably look into it himself. Being a proud car owner as he is is what kicks it all off really, and a healthy competition always leads to cool things.
