Don't lump me in with them. I'm an enthusiast of mechanic design, be it engines, weaponry, or productive machinery. Not a guy with a wrench that reads the marketing garbage AFE/insert other "enthusiast" brand that can't legally warranty half of their products.

I fail to see a correlation between people screeching variations of "forced induction is more efficient!!! Reclaimed energy!!!" and anything I've said.

If you can't be civil. Please leave

Edit. That goes for everyone in the thread

Honestly, wagons like the Audi RS6 and the Cadillac CTS-V are dope as fuck.

I just wish manufacturers were willing to put them in the States more, but in all fairness there's not a market for them here.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

On Sunday’s Jay Leno’s garage feature, was the 2018 Lamborghini Huracán Performante its engine is a V10, 5.2 litre naturally aspirated one. Starting at $275K this the fastest in the stable, which does 0 - 62 in 2.9 seconds. With 640HP(@8000rpm), it set a fastest lap time at the Nuremberg ring of 6m52s and has three settings for noise production Strada, Sport and Corsa.

Three model types are offered the RWD Spyder, RWD Coupé that develop 426kW@8000 rpm, for those drift masters out there! The Avio (limited edition) Spyder and Coupé as 4WD variants that have *only* 610cv (449kW@8250rpm) and then the Performante (above).

Very interesting what they are doing with “forged carbon fibre” especially how the air going over the top of the car is manipulated to add aerodynamic down force to the (unloaded) inside wheels when cornering called Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (A-L-A).

same here. literally the only thing remotely close MIGHT be the frost on the grass, but that's a stretch. it didn't even fall from the sky.

Some great news out of IMSA testing makes for a good birthday present

@MEC-777

Quote

***IMSA’s two-day test wrapped up on Wednesday afternoon, with a handful of Prototype teams laying down quick laps in the closing moments. The No. 77 Mazda RT24-P was clocked running laps in the mid 1:38s, with the No. 6 Penske Acura ARX-05 of Ricky Taylor in the high 1:39s to low 1:40s and Pipo Derani pedaling Onroak’s Ligier JS P217 Gibson in the low-to-mid 1:39s.

***The engine from the Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac DPi-V.R was impounded by IMSA following the morning session, forcing the team to pack up early. It’s understood the engine will be sent to NASCAR’s R&D center in Concord N.C. for further evaluation, with rumors of potentially another engine from the test also having been taken.

***All three primary colors on the Ford GT are in fact new, with ‘Frozen White’ being used alongside the metallic ‘Blue Lightning’ and ‘Liquid Red’ colors, which are offered on Ford’s line of production cars.

***Continental Tire has developed new wet weather tires for Prototype and GT Daytona. A new GTD slick tire, meanwhile, is scheduled to debut at Sebring, following more than six months of development, according to Continental Tire IMSA Product Manager Kevin Fandozzi.

***New rules for 2018, including the use of fuel flow sensors, could ultimately be a road-block for last-minute entries into the Rolex 24. An OEM representative told Sportscar365 that the lead time for the sensors, as well as IMSA’s mandated wiring harnesses, may make it difficult for any team that hasn’t already committed to the race.

***Sentronics, the sole supplier of fuel flow sensors in IMSA, however, states there are no issues in supply, despite having given teams an ordering deadline for the Roar and Rolex 24, according to a company spokesperson, who said they will have a stock of sensors for last-minute entries.

***IMSA has set a self-imposed maximum grid capacity of 60 cars for both Daytona and the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, a number that Sportscar365 understands that is very close to reaching.

good news is the insurance is letting me pick whatever shop i want so im going to try a place i've never tried before that the guy with the Lotus recommended to me...

and it looks promising. 2 locations, been around for a while, and very clean, professional looking facilities unlike the run down and honestly disgusting on the inside place my personal insurance company wanted me to get an estimate from... might not mean anything idk. to me it means something if you care about what your place/shop looks like as much money as those people make from insurance companies.. at least keep your building clean...

now i just got to get over there and get a good estimate from them... may have to leave them the car or something so they can look under the rear bumper cover at the rear body idk

sigh :/
