Well if you "stargaze" like they did back when they first came out, as long as you have hot pockets a microwave and tunes you should good to go. Also VW you NEED to have a shag carpet option.

Brand new shag carpet might not be too bad.

Buying one from the 70s with carpet though.. I'd rip that out immediately. Probably has enough DNA in it to clone a few people..

Both the Kaiser and the one i posted are pretty similar. I just prefer the chrome grill.

 

That tells me very little. 30k would be pretty standard over here. A volvo XC90 starts at 50k

How on earth are a Jeep and Volvo comparable? 

Also saw this wacky XC40 at the dealership

I just don't see the Volvo and Jeep targeting the same people. 

Eh probably. I'm not too big on its looks but it will probably grow on me, kinda like the Q2.

sorry, more information required. the jeep wrangler, a utilitarian inexpensive suv is now more expensive base model than a jeep grand cherokee, a luxry suv ... seems a bit ironic...

Just throwing this out there. The base model wrangler starts at $23995 Msrp and most dealers sell below Msrp.

The CJ5/7 was a utilitarian, inexpensive jeep. The Wrangler is just a CJ5/7 with a huge amount of luxury.

 

And the Bullshit Grand Cherokee wasn't billed as a luxury SUV. It was a middle ground to combat the Ford Exploder, Dodge D'oh Rango, and Shitrolet TrailBlazer.

Here's a kicker, the Durango an the grand Cherokee are the exact same vehicle now with slight differences.

That being said i do hope they do a slightly raised "Syncro" version. Just so i could go up slightly rougher trails to lakes where i could fish.

Well, you would be in a Volvo. The biggest concern in a crash would be 'what do I drive whilst waiting for insurance to pay up?'. xD

The D'oh Rango was just a Dakota with a closed bed unibody. The last gen Ram Charger was just the rebadge of the D'oh Rango in some countries. Many vehicles are just different vehicles with a new body.

I like pretty much all their other models. The wood/leather/feel inside is incredible. They don't look bad outside either cause they skip most of the plastic.

All the XC's get the same polyurethane bumpers though. The V40 will be the same car without the bumpers.
