Looks like something my 91 year old grandfather would drive. That's just my opinion tho.

hey that thing has like 147kW and 300nm of torque that is 200hp and 220lb-ft out of a turbo 1.9l 4cylinder ... sadly its only FWD :/ 

there is a 2.0T model that has less power (118kW and 230nm or 160hp and 170lb-ft ) from a 2.0l engine cause it uses a lower pressure turbo 

ok i should go to bed .. its 5:30 AM xD

My friends civic has an i4 1.8l with 195hp without a turbo. Although i'm pretty sure the v-tech helps xD We're planning to grab a turbo for it this summer lol and tune it up properly :P

Not going to knock the 200hp. While the 2012 GTI I test drove is slower in the 1/4mile it felt way faster and more fun to drive than a V6 and turbo 4 mustang were worse all around compared to the GTI in every category. If I had to decide on a car out of the 3 it would go GTI>eco boost mustang> v6 mustang. In the end all three didn't satisfy my crazing for power and being stupid so I'm most likely going to pick up a mustang with the new 5.0 in it and either turbo or supercharge it in a year or two.

Vtec basically is like a turbo only without the turbo :D and in the end b series an k series motors are just completely insane. With high hp numbers from a N/A motor idk how Honda could make them xD

Well... The s40 did come also with a n/a 1.6 that had 105hp and not many torques xD

.......until something goes wrong, they are very tight engine compartments, replacement parts seem a little high, but thats common knowledge, they do tend to get stripped quickly when they hit the junk yard.

Yep the engine compartment and the engines themselves are so compact that getting anything middle ground done basically requires taking the entire thing out

VTec isn't special all it is, is variable cam timing which most cars have now a days. In fact Toyota was the first to have variable cam timing. :P Vtec+turbo is nowhere near like having twin turbo.

I wonder how easy it is to obtain a cylinder head, there's gotta be a huge market for them.

My old Mitsubishi engine in the Mazda B2600i (4x4, manual) was sure a bitch to obtain a cylinder head. Cracked in a few spots.

Sure they could plugged it. I junked it.

Why would they?

It a top earning movie franchise, and earning a shit ton of money.

Expect to see more F&F movies come your way. I dont care either way, I have never watched them past Tokyo which is the second one I think. It shouldnt bother you, there are plenty of selections of movies to choose from, its probably best for you because it takes people out of the cinema theatre you are in. I prefer an empty theatre myself. Seat kickers and cell phone assholes should be banned.

I knew an 8th movie would be coming a long time before they announced it. BUT I don't think they should do many more. If they do end up with a few more i'm fine with up to 10 but please no more like 8 was.... To much about the action and not enough like the first several. I didn't really feel anything watching the most recent one. The previous ones I was always thrilled with and loved every moment of them. Now not so much... Paul Walker WAS a big part of it but it can still be great without him.

Not at all if anything it feels like a little it bitty tinny whiney turbo that you have a placebo effect with. It's great marketing but the difference it makes is pretty small in the RPM band.

well maybe for the more pedestrian honda motors, but the performance k and b motors with more agressive cams seem so.
