PUBG struggles to hit 30 fps on console release (lol)

GTA V took 7 years, + 1.5 to port to PC. Destiny took 4 years. most sequels I came across like COD takes 3 years. Pubg is hitting 1.0 in under 2 years (about 1.75)

 

This is a team new to FPS games and has not made a AAA game before, these others that took longer are made by veteran teams.

Can be argued that they're fairly advanced and they do have a knowledge of development, they've made TERA in the past (2011) and developed it, they aren't exactly thick.

the highest i got was 6th in PUBG i figured that was the closest to beating the game and uninstalled. not sure how its still doing this well theres not a ton of action unless you are full on suicidal or a god.

I tried playing H1Z1 after 6 momths and that game’s weapon mechanics have gone to shit for me. Bullet drop and recoil out of control. I loved H1Z1 before Z2 map and shortly after. In fact I played nothing else for a long time.

Everyone making games with UnrealEngine 4 at this point spits out extremely crappy games in terms of optimization including Epic's Paragon it has the worst performance i have ever seen for a moba.

This proves to me that UE4 is bad engine in term's of optimization, it pushes graphics too much with little regards to performance, probably has terrible cache coherency aswell.

Ive been using it since it went free and it is a system crusher engine.

Ofcourse the devs could optimize but they dont seem to care, and games that are being properly optimized after release are as rare as unicorns.

PUBG runs way better on the test servers than what's currently on the live servers and xbox is running what we're currently running on the pc test servers and getting well over 100fps on ultra settings since they "optimized" it.

Regardless of platform, we/you're all gamers and we should care more about people getting stiffed on a piss poor game performance.
