Used it for three weeks this summer, like it's not the greatest but it's functional enough to be used imo

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I don't LIKE that people use it, but it also doesn't trigger me... as long as if they're asking a question about something and I reply with "well it works OK on firefox/chrome/opera"

"We took out this feature to make the system more understandable"   If you want to clean up the UI, hide the options in another advanced menu, don't ever take out features. That is like saying you had an in-depth research paper but you cut out half of your sources to make it "simpler"

I have been trying to get a gaming laptop since I was 13 (About 7 years ago and I just got one last year) I bought it with my own money. 2.  I got a really good sale with it and I use every part of it. 3. I got a great value unlike some other pricey laptops in that price range with much lower specs. 3. I paid for it myself, don't act like I was given it and am crazy lucky. 4. You don't have to get an expensive gaming PC, a budget one could play most games fine at high framerates ultra at 1080p 60fps.

 

"It just works" I have caught myself saying this a few times when talking about the stability of certain software. However I find people saying it for things like " I bought a macbook because it just works" for example.

 

"FPS is just a number"

 

In response to me saying that my Nexus 6P was about $400 when I bought it. "That's really expensive, my new LG phone/iPhone/ Samsung phone was only $200". No it is not, you actually pay hundreds more with your contract, and sometimes I even get people who tell me that is the price of their new flagship phone even when I explain it to them.

If it didn't ship with windows how would you download an alternative?

I suppose you could search for the info on your phone, but that still doesn't sound easier than typing FF into IE and clicking the download button.

Do they even do that anymore?  Last time I went into a shop that sold software, all they had was cards on the shelf and you took it to the counter where they sold you a key that you have to login and use to download the software (which requires a browser).

Obviously if they added better performance for the same value it would be great. But the point is they don't.

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD
