Colorful announces their new water-cooled graphics card, the iGame GTX 1080 Ti Neptune W

Colorful has just announced their AIO liquid cooled GTX1080Ti. And it features some pretty interesting cooling tech straight out of the box.

The new Colorful iGame GTX 1080 Ti Neptune W is a beast, offering everything the GTX 1080 Ti has to offer with its GP102 GPU, 11GB of GDDR5X @ 11Gbps, but changes the game offering a liquid-cooler with a huge 240mm radiator. Colorful's new iGame GTX 1080 Ti Neptune W sports the company's Vultune Shield, which offers up RGB lights that can be controlled through Colorful's own iGame-Zone II software.

Cooling wise, the new iGame GTX 1080 Ti Neptune W rocks a waterblock base and copper pipes that are built with red copper that has "extreme thermal conductivity" that will push teh heat into the liquid cooler, and out through to the radiator.

It seems like manufacturers these days are more and more incline to go with their own liquid cool solution. What do you guys think of this trend?

Red copper? Whats that? Copper is more orange than red to me (I know someone can name it correctly).

At least Colorful made their waterblocks look even better than other brands, with actual styling rather than colours only.

Clean unoxidized copper is more of a pinkish shade so I guess that's where "red" can come from.  Brown / Orange comes from a bit of oxidation.

It sounds like they're trying to be skeezy though and imply they somehow have used a material that is better than copper.

yeah...

If i see someone using silver and claiming their "white gold like pure treated silver" is more special than the rest, i will probably lose interest in that manufacturer lol.

Its hard to believe people fall for these things.

it mostly is their PR department churring out all the bullshit. i sometimes consult with startups, its really annoying when they completely twist the technical story into some kind of PR wet dream that holds zero resemblance to reality. red copper would be the least of my problems for damage control :P

As of still I wouldn't be surprised if Colorful literally has just rebranded the fans & heat exchanger off ID Cooling xD Although interchangeable fan rings would be kewl to see pre included :D

I once did the unthinkable, back many headphones ago...

I split an audio split, again
