Active noise cancellation on a phone?

How exactly would that work?

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Atleast it looks promishing. Then I just hope they pull off the design side of thing. I just want front facing speakers and a somewhat good camera. Couldn't care less about processor, RAM and whatnot.

It's about time to get my M7 replaced!

My m8 is getting unusable at this point, how are you still on the m7?

Honestly, it's not. I've borrowed a M8 from a friend these past few weeks. The only thing that was suffering was the battery though. It would last about half a day :P

My battery is essentially gone and it's so much slower just opening apps than it used to be. I constantly find myself just waiting for something to load or the entire phone freezes. Guess 3 years is the lifespan for these phones

I'm using an m7. It's getting really slow now and battery lasts less than a day when idling on wifi with whatsapp in the background, but there's nothing interesting on the market atm because of samsung hoarding 835s like a child.

I've had the HTC inspire, the M7 and M9. I'd get the U 11, but HTC did me dirty and got rid of the headphone jack. Thats a deal breaker for me.

I love the solid feel of the aluminum phone, but I cant bring myself to carry a stupid dongle with me, and I want to be able to charge and listen to stuff simultaneously. Also, only IP57? Why not 67 for more dust protection?

I mean very good specs, pretty much expected as far as SoC and such. Though interesting edge sense concept they have.

Although it doesnt actually say it has a headphone port, I would imagine it to probably a similar way as Sony have done since the Xperia Z2 (I think it was the 2, anyway). They basically have specific headphones that work with it, and the phone processes the noise cancellation so the headphones don't need to be powered separately. Might only work the USB headphones if there is no normal headphone jack though.

If they keep the no headphone jack trend the HTC 10 will be the last HTC phone I own.

How can they make it water resistant for 1 meter for 30 minutes and only partially dust resistive?

Unless dual stereo speakers return, the very potential lack of no headphone jack would kill this company true game focus of the past, audio quality...

Looks like a glass design so I'm staying with M7. Still great for general use after all these years if optimized properly.

The specs look promising... I just wish it didn't have that touch sensitive side gimmick. Especially since I use a case. How's that going to work? Hopefully they don't price themselves out of the market like they did with the U Ultra.
