Before I begin, I am simply going to state that I know absolutely nothing about the science of optics or light.

We tech enthusiasts seem to love RGB lights. I however, do not appreciate their "gamery" aesthetic.

I had a dream. I had a dream of a world where light can effortlessly be filled with darkness! Yes, I want lightbulbs that can emit darkness... or absorb light. This is probably not even possible, but I figured I would throw the idea out here anyway.

the oppisite of a light builb would be a ... solar panel, but due to how light works, you can't suck it up in a easy way(if you have a enough mass(insert yo mamma joke here) you can)

There's also that weird material that absorbs/reflects no light. But it wouldn't suck light out of a room.

so would be anything that is perfectly black, but in the real world nothing is perfectally black.

Light isn't just a wave though. It's a particle too. Because of the short wavelength and a lot of the particle properties of light, it's very very difficult to create and time a wave perfectly enough to counterwave it. You also need to make sure their colision path is perfect, because the photons need to come into contact.

Well there is acutally a theortical way to use a black hole to generate energy. Scientist belive if they made a super small black hole, were talking the size of quantum particles, they might be able to throw hydrogen particles at it and when the black hole tears it apart it reales energy/heat they can use to power things. Its very theortical and won't be seen for at least 100 years though.

Not sure what you mean by emit darkness as how you see things is based on light entering your eyes either directly from a source or reflected off of a surface.  About the best way to get darkness is to get rid of any direct sources and have any stray light hitting a material that absorbs the spectrum and photons as opposed reflecting them (such as the Vantablack)...

Light also tends to do some weird quantum things when we are not observing it.

They can emit less light, but to emit darkness is to not emit

Absorb light would be paintint the bulb black, but I think there is a color shift paint out there where you apply some voltage and it changes color so you use that as the bulbs glass, and hopefully you can get black color.
