Pretty much every Pokemon game I've played

 

That and in Minecraft my brother-in-law and I played on a private server a lot and were always just like "I don't like how that mountain looks, lets get rid of it" lol.

I haven't really at all.  I was on youtube watching some borderlands 2 video and in the suggestions were all these "best places to grind in bl2" and the thought had never occurred to me after 255 hours of it.

F#cking Nito was easy, but the Hellkite Dragon was a b#tch without the bow "glitch". (Can't remember the right word)

 

I wouldn't consider Pokemon a "grind" since the trainers and normal walking distance generally give you enough experience to deal with the next gym or set of trainers until you beat the Elite Four.

Edit: Dragon Warrior 1! Seriously, f#ck that game! You got the flute and then had to go to an area where monsters could one-hit you until you were level 9. Then, you move to a dungeon with level 20 being a good spot.

No you didn't  I try to grind every Friday night at the local watering hole. And by that I mean I never actually grind because I think it's gross and am rather interested in someone at the moment.

 

Seriously speaking though, the game I cannot put down is Minecraft - friends and I will stay up til 3am on a work night grinding away at some machine or landscaping operation on our modded server. We won't even realize how long we've been playing until we look at the Skype call duration and see we've been on a call for 7 hours.

I was going to reply any MMO ever. My first was Ragnarok Online, and the level progression at higher levels took forever, even before they started adding transcended classes which took something like 3x forever. People were setting themselves goals like getting 1% exp a day. Death was costly as that would wipe that out.

 

Forward to today... now I'm kinda in and out of FFXIV. They tried to avoid some of the grind but I'm near the end of the base game now and to do story progression I need to grind a level and a half. They did quite well before this, in that there was enough variety in quests and side quests to keep you busy so you didn't need to grind much.

 

 

Elsewhere, I did try the F2P/P2W mobile games. I love the concept of Love Live but the events are unpossible for people like me who can't or wont obsessively time their day around when the energy points regenerate, or want to throw enough cash at it to make it unnecessary.
