Does haswell CB around -120 to -140? Or is it vastly different with each chip?

From Steponz testing his batch of like 4-5 chips cold bugged around -110c to -140

Just did some 3DMark 06 on my 6950 PE and damn this old hardware with a new CPU gives alot of hardware points.

PEWDIEPIE DONT CROSS THAT BRIDGE

depends on the chip. some will only go down to -80/-90 if your really unlucky. average is -110 to -120 and any that go below -130 are great. you should have any problem on dice. you can just fill the pot

r u still awake @Jumper118

I can get either a CPU pot or GPU pot, then buy the other later on.  Wat do? CPU pot is $50 cheaper too

my cpu is butthole tho... :/

I hear cpu is easier but idk it doesn't really look all that hard for either one for insulating etc

I have a Kingpin pot and Fluke 52 II with K probe you can buy. It'll work with both Intel and AMD Sockets. :)

If I decide to use LET, I can use it 24/7 still right?   So after I pull the pot off I can dry stuff, then just go back to using water?

as long as you dont cover any contact points where the water block touches something that produces heat. yes. with eraser you would have to take it all off every time you wanted to used it under water.

Well the block only touches the CPU, so shouldn't be any problems

wow. i face palmed at my last comment so hard. i forgot you were getting a cpu first.

make sure you take the vrm heatsinks off and do around that area as well. also you might want to take the cpu retention thing off to put some stuff round there. Another thing is that you can never, ever have too many paper towels.

Not difficult at all. Only thing you need is the right Torx bit.

Torx bit required is T20 i'm pretty sure.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. I might need to do a fresh install again effecency is 100% gone for CPU anything in this 10 install from it getting so cluttered :\ But on the bright side I can run 4.7 Core 4.5 Cache 24/7 now load temps are between 62-66C with a peak of 72C

ffe20312f2.png

ed1858eb9f.png

But there seems to be ZERO efficiency now in the install, even after doing all the tweaks to make it more efficient it is still doing 20CB worse then my old score.
