Need help with xmp

Go to solution Solved by Bob_The_Builder,

Disconnect everything that could be causing it to bluescreen, (accessories or any kind, capture card etc) and turn off XMP, run prime95 overnight and see if it spits out any errors, if it does its not XMP that's messed up its your ram or something else, see if you can isolate if its one stick or both by taking one out and doing the same thing in prime95. If one run returns no errors then it was that stick or ram, if they both still spit out errors there could be an error with both of them or some other thing is causing the issue. If it is the ram talk with the manufacture and see if they will RMA it or something similar.

Hey so my pc is

ryzen 5 3600

32gb 3600mhz ram

rx 570

1000w psu evga

So when I enable xmp profile it work great but then randomly crashes or bluescreens and I don't know why i have tried upping voltage but that doesn't help I also checked the timing nothing was wrong there.

sometimes XMP just doesn't work, check if your ram sticks are listed as XMP compatabile with your MOBO.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).
I'm learning video editing and trying to get some cash as a high school student.
I like F1, my favourite team is Scuderia Ferrari and favourite driver is Charles Leclerc. Favourite track is Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Playing with a 1080p 60hz monitor right now, hoping to upgrade to a 1440p 144hz one soon.

Living in AU and that pisses me off since every event is late at night or early in the morning (almost every F1 race starts around 11 PM AEST time)

It seems the xmp profile isn't working right but I lowered it to 3200 instead of 3600 and its working just fine. Thanks for all the help!
