Louis Rossman is not as screwed as people speculated

Today Louis Rossman posted an update video following up on yesterday's vague words on what might happen to him.

Basically the gist of it is that people, including him, might have overreacted and assumed too much. He is NOT being sued for the time being. He has been contacted (through his attorney) by a law firm that also represents Apple; however the law firm has not made any threats and apparently even likes his channel. He is still a little skeptical about their true intentions but for now, he and his channel are fine and it seems like they won't receive any harm. Again, that does not necessarily mean he is completely safe and does not risk anything, but for now it doesn't look as bad as people thought.

 

In the aftermath of yesterday's speculation a lot of people have downloaded the entire channel and put it up as torrent, the link to one of which can be found here (DOWNLOAD AT YOUR OWN RISK!).

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it. 

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff. 

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

That goes without saying that everyone assume the worse from Apple given what they've already done in the past. That's not good at all for them.

Look at the first letters of each one of these sentences. What does it spell? SIARI. What is Siari? Well, a quick Google search shows that SIARI is the religion of an alien race in Mass Effect. Alien starts with an "A", remember that. Their religion's name, SIARI, translates into "All is one". When you Google All is One, and click on images.. what is the first thing you see? a suggestion under the search bar for "Symbol". And what is the first image there? A tree.... Remember how "Alien" starts with an "A"? What else has to do with Trees, and starts with an "A"? Apples.
Coincidence? Wake up guys. Apple lawsuit confirmed.

Not only did you waste your time writing this, but my time aswell by reading it.

Apple has been lobbying to make what he does illegal and they have taken every step to make component level board repair as hard as possible. Hopefully you can see how this turn of events is hard to believe, let alone predict.

Apple scared shitless? I don't think so. They're keeping a close eye on the videos he releases. So for him, he has to think about what to show on YT.

Doubtful that has anything to do with anything.

 

He's either going to get talked to by the firm to come to an agreement to avoid a lawsuit, or they want to offer him a job or something (doubtful). They don't contact people out of the blue in this way just to give them a pat on the back.

A lot of people here, including me, come across that way.

 

Louis is bitter about a lot of things, and he projects that into videos. He's a human being, and he doesn't put on a facade to make people feel good. I like that about him.
