Nvidia Pascal! The countdown has begun!

I quickly browsed this section to see if anyone else had started a post on this, and I don't believe they have. If so, I apologize and mods, please delete this.

 

I was watching Pauls Hardware, and he received this mystery box that had a code inside and it went to a website to unlock a piece of the puzzle. It seems as though there were 5 more of these mystery boxes sent out. Upon putting the code in on the website from his video, it unlocks the last clue and it allows you to go to a "countdown" which coincides with the leaked close-door release of Pascal. I think the way they went about this is really neat. Check out the links to everything mentioned. Pascal is almost here!!!!

EDIT: Just want to throw it out there that a couple of days ago when Jay made the video talking about it being a year since he left his job, and referenced that he had been invited to a special event in the near future that he was super excited about, I knew it was the Pascal launch. Okay, so maybe I didn't absolutely know, but that was literally the first thing that came to mind since Jay is such a GPU whore. lol

Will their be CPU with Pascal iGPU that help bring overall laptop price down? If not...Pascal won't be interesting to me for several years until I want to upgrade/when my GTX 970 decides to bloody die already).

I don't see that happening. There will no doubt be laptops with dedicated Nvidia graphics, but I don't see Nvidia and Intel partnering up for an iGPU within the Intel chip.

Interesting arg indeed. I guess it is for Pascal as the countdown lines up with the 6th, which is the rumour for the paper launch of Pascal. It will be interesting to finally hear about the actual architecture, as it is different from P100 (which is only made for compute).

For NVidia's sake, I hope it will be able to do concurrent asynchronous compute, or AMD will wreck them in DX12 games.
