why so much hate on Armstrong

i dont understand  why there is so much hate towards him, i understand he used drugs to win but there is millions of ppl around the world who do the same

He did it to win a competition, so everyone's very cross with him. He did drugs to cheat, not for recreation. In high-profile events like those he was competing in, the expectation is that everyone is on a 'level playing field' so to speak, and he used drugs to tip the field in his favour.

Wouldn't that reduce testosterone production by a margin and thus having less muscle mass and strenght?

Just because a lot of people do something does not mean it is OK. A lot of people are shoplifting, but it's not OK. A lot of people are driving while they are drunk, but it's not OK. A lot of people cheat in competitions in order to win huge amounts of money, and it's not OK.

Just imagine how you would feel if you spent your entire life training, and training and training, and then you lose competitions over and over, and then it turns out the person you have been competing against have been cheating. He basically robbed all the other (at least the ones who were not cheating) contestants from the fame, glory and price money.

I'm just saying though, it's not ok for everything he did, but "some" good did come out of it. Not that it makes it ok, but I'm sure there's lots of kids/people with cancer his foundation helped.

 

None of that makes it ok, but I'm glad it helped people. It's completely unfair to all the people that were effected in the sports scene by him though.

He ruined at least ~12 competitions by cheating. He has made millions of dollars by cheating. He has earned glory and fame by cheating. Those are not "little things". I am not even interested in cycling, but Armstrong deserves all the crap he is getting for lying, cheating and ruining the reputation of a whole sport.

It is bad that he lied to millions of fans but I also think that in pro cycling especially that blood doping and other performance enhancing procedures are very common, it is a sport full of cheaters. That does not make what he did right or okay but he is not as big of a villain as some people have made him out to be. He was still a very good athlete, the best of the cheaters.
