I never got the Israel problem. They're just a country that was created after WWII so jewish people had a place to live without being persecuted from inside your country. Sorry if i'm being ignorant but i'm only 16

But they stole the country from the Palestinians, at first they lived together peacefully but these days due to the actions of the Israelis this simply is not possible anymore. And since there is massive support from the west and mostly the USA the Israelis can get away with it. Also the Zionist propaganda in the country where they get thought the world hates them.

what do you mean? The rich often pay lower effective rates than the middle class, you're saying you're OK with that? And how is minimum wage a "no"? It would literally be close to $15 today had it just kept up with inflation.

im against taxing the rich more and increasing min wage

because they earned that money from working hard, and you just take more of that money away from them

Elaborate, why should a company making billions a year not have pay their staff a living wage, or make a larger contribution to the state? Do CEOs deserve to make hundreds of millions a year, while thousands die every day from disease and malnourishment, children have to work for pittance instead of going to school just to keep their family fed.

Don't live in America, but honestly he just seems like the best presidential candidate. He genuinely seems to have America's best intentions in his mind. However, from what I can tell the only reason why Bernie isn't winning the polls is because a lot of the older generations aren't aware of who he is... Especially with the amount of attention that Hillary gets. As much as I would love a woman president, America should go for the best candidate- that's Bernie.

He was my number 1 choice. But he's being beaten by the rigged system.

Is much simpler than that: They wouldn't need to cover higher wages if they were not such fucking scumbags about evading taxes and leaving the state unable and unwilling to provide several basic necessities.

If there was no change to the tax brackets at all, just strict enforcement of the current rules and no tax evasion, tax heavens, etc. There'd be enough money to fund education, health care, even housing and more extensive food programs, etc. then you can keep paying 8 bucks an hour.

Most of the worlds tax havens are in British Overseas Territories, they wont be closed down under this government, that's plain to see, making Google pay only 2% of the income they earn in the UK was proclaimed as a "great deal" and such.

Actually the US could compel any company that wants to do business in the US to still pay US tax to basically close those loopholes.

Definitively not. But bringing it up should create more awareness for many "small government, little tax" advocates. Their vision doesn't works if you don't face the reality of tax evasion. Nobody's fucking politics work, that's why you end up with so much back and forth between "More taxes" and "Less taxes" debates instead of focusing on the most fundamental issue of them all.

I really like Bernie. He's starting to get a little desperate though, because Hillary Clinton is wrecking him. I like his democratic socialist ideas and values. I'd love to see him as president, but I think I'll have to settle for Hillary Clinton, which I make do with.

Bernie's policies wouldn't work in the US. Heck, they wouldn't work anywhere. Take a look at failing economies of Europe. Europe is only standing due to the US economy and even the US economy is quite poor.

As someone who has never worked and probably wouldn't work for less than $20 an hour I quite like Bernie. I think he's facing a huge amount of laughable resistance and obviously won't get the nomination - but still, good ideals. Just seems that America has so fully bought the line that makes it acceptable to pay a person less than a living wage that even those who would benefit from many of his policies oppose him.

And the healthcare policy. That above pretty much everything but the wage policy. Pretty much the top reason I'd never consider travelling to the US is the cost of healthcare. Can only imagine how shite it is to not be able to go to a doctor without fear of incurring huge personal cost.

Good luck to you, Merican's. Try not to kill the world with your votes.

Do you know a household of six is supposed to be able to survive "healthy" on $30,000 a year (absolute BS though) without governmental aid but millions of Americans with a similar or larger household have been scrapping by on $19-20,000 a year in the Appalachian mountains? And they can't get Obamacare or governmental aid because they "make too much". And yet Bernie Sanders wants to raise taxes for everyone by 10% because he believes that what that goes towards paying makes it worth it. Obama wanted to do the same thing as well as give us "better free healthcare" that now costs people a lot of money and finds them at the end of the year should they not have healthcare—which is just another punishment for large, poor families.

So what I think about him? I think Bernie Sanders is a moron with socialist dreams that won't work in this country/reality, but people will vote for him because he thinks only black people can know poverty and has a plan to punish the rich for being rich and because he says a lot of things will be "free". But guess what? They won't be free. Someone else is paying for it with tax hikes. But hey, you people don't care, it isn't your money being strangled out of you for someone else to live the good life. Why work for something when someone else will be forced to give it to you for free?

It is a perfect world now that Bernie Sanders plans to enlighten us all. I'm sure that if he becomes president a lot of poor families will be feeling "the bern".

I'm no sunshine soldier so if he drops out+ decides not to go third party I'm done with it.

Hillary is a no go for me. She represents the oligarchy and status quo.

Trump keeps flip flopping on points so it's hard to keep a firm opinion for him and plus I'm not a fan of the sort of thugs and white supremacists that follow him. I have the weird feeling that if America isolates itself as he suggests, the Russians are going to have a field day and there will be parties in the Kremlin. Luckily I have books to improve my Russian tovarisch.

I mean I guess there's other parties like the Green party, constitution party and whatever else is out there to throw my vote away on.
