importing from google account doesn't work

 

touch support is completely balls

You can import all your stuff from Chrome to Firefox, then sync everything with their syncing thing and you're done. Don't know about touch support, I don't have touch on my laptop.

I hate blocking ads. I want to support the websites I visit. I seriously don't mind ads, even the pop-up before you can read ads. I accept it as the cost of free content. Which it is.

I imported bookmarks, they were all backwards.

 

Touch most of the time starts selecting stuff instead of moving the page up and down, like with a mouse.

I don't see any posts that prove Chrome has used all resources of an average PC.

 

The average user will use a computer to browse the web and listen to some music/watch a movie. I doubt Chrome using too much RAM would affect them since it's the only thing they use. Also, unused RAM is a waste.

i guess if you get one of those old laptops with 128MB of ram it will use 100% of ram lol

It'll be awesome if there's no shred of Google in this thing's core or surface.

 

I'm already using a combination of Maxthon and Firefox Private browsing, maybe this can replace Firefox.

And then if my browser got me money too that would be great

 

Considering the pain of using Bing compared to Google, the 500 days of "Binging" is not worth $5.

That's over a year to earn $5... and that assumes that you do 20 searches a day, every single day!!!

You have my respect for putting up with Bing, but my god, why do you put yourself through it... Just for $5, like once every 2 years.

I'd have to be being paid $5 every 2 minutes to use Bing  :lol:

Did you miss the "No user data will be recorded or stored by Brave" part of the story? That's the point of the browser.

I'm glad someone is finally taking this to the next level. By by building in extensions like privacy badger into the core of the browser, you'll avoid websites that break because the CSS files are being blocked too.

Took one 0.15s glance at their web page, didn't see google account compatibility and I'm gone. 

 

 

Chromes syncing between devices feature is the best on the planet.

yeah, i'm reinstalling my macbook and its a huge plus that i dont have to redo all my chrome settings

Chrome is big because it works on everything the same. Phone, tablet, computer, everything is synced, bookmarks, history, passwords.

I tried to import my bookmarks to Edge. I tried is the key word.

Firefox does that too. I can pretty much continue a browsing session when I put my phone down and sit in front of my pc.

that kinda would destroy the 100% anonymity and privacy tho i think

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

On what platform? It beats chrome load times significantly for me. Allows me to watch 1080 videos instantly on youtube rather then waiting on chrome. It is also much faster then safari on my iphone. I love it.

android phone. its a really weird browser i cant use it. while i browse it has 2 wide bars stacked one over the other. first is that bar with the bubble and settings(which doesnt work if i press it while browsing) and the secons is the address bar. so its painful to use it on a mobile device as it has 2 bars taking a lot from the content.

autocomplete doesnt work so if i want to check something quick it takes a lot since i have to write everything. thats not fast for me
