Seeing as my PC probably has more computational power than a PS5, it would be a huge downgrade. So no.

What if an emulator gets released soon after they launch?

I am going to end up getting one or my brother or dad. I will end up playing the new killzone at some point other than that and playing blue ray disks it will be in the shadow of my pc.

If the game was released only for a console, I would get it on the console. While I'm not a fan of the concept of exclusives (curse you, Nintento, and your awesome exclusive franchises), I do support the companies in their decisions of putting it on a certain console by obtaining it for said console.

 

Edit: Man, that's a lot of "console" in such a short message.

This +100000000000 , KH3 is pretty much the only reason I might even partially consider getting a console, even then I might just buy a copy of the game to play on my brother's

The thing about emulators, is that they are only technically legal if you own the game.

 

I'm going to be getting both, there nice to play when people are over. Won't be my primary gaming device but they are always nice to have.

I'll be getting an Xbox One once there's a Halo title out. Really wish they'd just release them for the PC already. Really don't want to drop 500 bucks just for one game.
