I plan on doing some custom cable sleeving on my PSU, an EVGA 750W G2, and I noticed the inline capacitors on the 24 pin cable. I know, I know, CapXon is not the WORST Chinese brand and the inline caps are not critical, but still! The claim "100% Japanese Capacitors" is a lie...

CapXon are crap but the cable caps are technically not part of the inward PSU so it's not going to be addressed

Well it's where it counts you can theoretically cut those off but it does cause more ripple or voltage variations during sudden loads which also is why it makes it one of the best PSU's out there. This isn't really an new thing.

The statement "100% Japanese Capacitors" does not say anything about JUST the PSU. If it says "PSU Contains 100% Japanese Capacitors" then it would be fine, as these are outside of the PSU. But it does not state this, and if the contents of a brand new power supply box contains caps from china, I aint avin it!

The cables are not made by Super Flower iirc so the cables themselves may have been a secondary company.

I'm a bit surprised you should message Jacob at EVGA and ask about it. Even still doesn't change the fact this is one of the best power supplies available and has the 10 year warranty

You could waste money and sue them. I'd send them an email bitching about it and see what they get you. It usually works out pretty well for me. It's how I got my Titan X.
