I got Linus' screwdriver!

Pooherino ツ

Usually I don't really care about tools, and what kind of brand of tool that I use, I used to use some cheapo walmart screw driver that works perfectly. But I am doing an aviation program, and I need a lot of hand tools and starting to do some research on tools. And I thought Linus has a cool screwdriver, I wonder what it is. I know that it is snap-on since I saw it on the handle. So I looked on snap-on website and I found it. Now if you guys don't know snap-on, its kinda like the apple of the tool industry, very very overpriced. I got mine for $70 + tax and shipping and I got it yesterday. So far it feels very good, very industrial, I mean it is the best that you can get toolwise, or so Im told. This is that it looks like

If you are gonna get a screwdriver, I would recommend it, because I use screwdriver a lot, so I thought why not buy a good one, it will last you for life unless you lose it first. The rest of my hand tools (wrenches, ratchet, sockets, adapters, hammers) I bought them from Mactools.

$70 for a screwdriver?

I'll stick to my $15 kit.

I am a mechanic by trade and that is a great screwdriver. But to save yourself some money go with a gear wrench brand it is the same thing for a fraction of the cost.

Lol, I love seeing people on this forum freak out at the price of good tools.

But I do really hate multi-bit screw drivers.

I have pretty much any screwdriver you could think of (Somewhere.. Really need to organize my storage)

Mostly pretty cheap stuff with magnetic tips but they work just fine. Don't really see the appeal of linus's one.

he's in canada

and if you do anything that matters, you can buy a cheap screwdriver 5 times for every time it breaks or buy a single snap-on and abuse the hell out of it and get it replaced the one off time you break it.

they're a good investment outside of building a PC only

I have used the same $10 screwdriver kit for 3 years. Lol. My Step-Dad has had the same kit of,tools, for 5 years, and he works on cars ALL the time and I do not think he spent more then a few hundred. ( There is atleast 200 different tools, and many many bits, ect ect )
