DDOSing is not hacking and it is a stupid way children call them selves hackers. You you say had a bot net of thousands of computers DDOSing becomes much more damaging

What do you mean by "How was Linus hacked"? If you're talking about this site, to the best of my knowledge it hasn't been hacked, though it has been DDoSed, which just meant that it was down for a few hours earlier in the year. I'm not aware of Linus himself having been hacked either.

I remember that happening, Linus mentioned he clicked on some adware or something like that and something downloaded on to his PC, keylogger of some sort and the person retrieved his passwords

Yea that did happen sadly a very long time ago. He entered his login stuff in a fake website but he managed to get it back thanks to a hotmal account he doesn't use anymore. He mentioned that in a recent WAN show.

Something to do with some java script or something which gave someone access to the LinusTechTips and NCIXcom YouTube accounts. Fortunately all the "deleted" videos were retrieved and placed back online. I remember this because this was happening at the time I was watching reviews and unboxings to plan for my current system.
