I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but

I'm new to this and I need help in upgrade my pc. it's currently 2 years old, it's something I bought before.

My Current setup is

MOBO a520m ds3h

CPU R5 5600g

RAM 8x2 RAM

PSU CV450

I'm thinking of getting the Galax GeForce RTX 3050 EX 8GB GDDR6 128bit Graphics Card(35NSL8MD6YEX) with a CX750 PSU

Am I doing this right? I did some research and majority of the posts I saw recommend 6600xt for r5 5600g but I want the NVDIA software.

Also very anxious of GPUs since they're pretty expensive and I saw videos that their gpu explode.

Edit:
Leaning towards rx 6600 because its faster than 3050 (as Tetras mentioned if i understood that correctly) can sacrifice the NVDIA Software if 6600 is truly my best option (saw some reddit post its always R5 5600g and RX 6600 (non-xt and xt)

I mostly play gacha games but I want to try monhun and souls game, any help is appreciated!
I also use LG 42 inch CINEMA 3D Smart TV LA6500 as my monitor, I would love to play games on it full screen (I usually play everything windowed)

If you want nvidia, I'd look at a 3060 12GB (depending on prices where you are). The 3050 is much slower than even the 6600 non-XT and (from TPU's GPU database) the 6600 XT is 45% faster than the 3050 8GB in raster which is huge.

3060 12GB is too steep of a price for me since I have to upgrade my PSU. 6600 non-XT and the 3050 is what I can afford right now (I don't know their market value but there's a sale on going right now)

PSU
CX750 - 4,000 PHP / $68.19
GPU
RTX 3050 8GB - 13,819 PHP / $235.58
RTX 3060 8GB GIGABYTE - 16,591 PHP / $282.83
RX 6600 Sapphire Pulse - 13,495 PHP / $230.05

Are these used prices or brand new? I would suggest not buying previous gen graphics card brand new. If you consider a used 3060 it would come for cheaper and you can easily buy a new PSU 600-750w with the rest of that money.

Then go take a look at the used market. It takes a bit of care but it's not that difficult. Usually there are resellers that you can trust but if you can buy it from someone who would let you test the card then that's fine too. Buying a used graphics card can save you a lot of money if you buy it correctly and from the right person.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind. one last question, are PCIE 4.0 graphic card cool with PCIE 3.0 MOBO? I'm new to graphic cards so I never really looked at them.
