Yet to be seen if AMD can follow through on their rather large promises

They don't need to follow through,  if they fail they have a back up plan; they simply roll out Huddy who blames Nvidia.  :o :P

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

fury
nounplural furies.
...
...
3.
Furies, Classical Mythology. minor female divinities: the daughters of Gaea who punished crimes at the instigation of the victims: known to the Greeks as the Erinyes or Eumenides and to the Romans as the Furiae or Dirae. Originally there were an indefinite number, but werelater restricted to Alecto, Megaera, and Tisiphone.

So technically, still Greek mythology.

I am conducting some polls regarding your opinion of large technology companies. I would appreciate your response.

Meh.  PC components have had weird, cheesy, marketing names since I don't know... the 3DFX Voodoo days?  Voodoo Rush anyone?

If it doesn't follow conventional naming, than it may be something more distinguished from usual line?

It'll simply be a Titan competitor. Fully unlocked core. Priced beyond what most enthusiasts can actually afford, while the rest of their 3xx line is nothing but rebrands.

Not quite rebrands, but close. Supposedly the R9 290x was never a full Hawaii GPU, and the mess of defects is why they ran so hot and consumed so much power. Fully unlocked with a nice overclock, we could easily see a 20% performance increase over the 290x.

way more fanboyism and I will be (radeon) Fury!

Jokes aside, I do not care how do they call Fiji, if it will be decent.

My biggest concerne are the rumors. There are too many, most of them that does not make sense, yet people believe them!

You released the fucking fury!!!!

<Yngwie Malmsteen>

I kind of hope AMD releases it and calls it Fury, because "AMD released the fucking fury" would be a great headline.

Blast from the past red team:

RaVFokR.jpg

I knew it seemed familiar. They really should name the cards Radeon R11 Fury Pro and Radeon R11 Fury XT.

Crank it to 11
