But all i5s do have an igpu, in fact every non ethusiast "core" cpus have an igpu.

There might be some exceptions with mobile ones, but it is safe to assume all i5s have an igpu.

So I was reading a CNET article about immigrants from Iran and there was someone who took pictures of their children and wife and stuff while immigrating. These people are poor, right? The person had an iPhone 6 (possibly s). It bothers me how they can afford that.

Idk what phone you have but check eBay. Tempered glass screen protectors are really cheap there.

Well not all i5's have igpus, though at the same time I do agree that a large variety of i5's do have igpus but even then the yahoo answerer smarty or whatever assumed that the i5 had an igpu even when he should have known that the author didn't specify which i5 he was talking about 

 

Heck from what I know, an i5 paired with intel hd graphics 4000 or lower would not get much good fps as 45+ unless optifine is put in especially during 2014 when the intel hd graphics 4000 igpus or lower started losing its good performance due to the new minecraft updates..So again ignorance on that yahoo answerer's part still

I know a lot of people might say they have seen this so it may not be that interesting but my grandma had downloaded a virus one i recognized on sight know that it was rasomware i told her i could get it off of her computer just fine but then she told me i already paid for it why isn't it gone *FacePalm*

Just a couple days ago I was at Best Buy looking for something (Computer power cord that they didn't have surprise surprise. ?) and I saw a family looking to buy a Mac for their daughter for college.  I tried to suggest they consider a Windows laptop but the sheeple that they were proceeded to say that they are an Apple family and rattled off a list of Apple computers that they own.  I tried to point out that a Mac won't have MS office that would be needed for college work but they just said they use google docs.  As if google docs makes everything ok.  Nope it doesn't.  

 

A few minutes later I saw an employee getting a MacBook (MacBook Air I think it was) out of a locked cage for these sheeple to buy.  I decided it was best to leave because I was having a very hard time not bashing my head into a wall from having to see people be so stupid.  For having sheeple tunnel vision.  Also I was fighting the urge to find more people to save from the "knowledgable" /s Best Buy employees attempts to push people into making poor purchase decisions.

Tempered glass screen protectors do a good job of keeping the display smooth.

It's fair, here it's not common knowledge anyway, none of my family members really know any of that. Take China as an example, it's a developing country and what the majority of people fail to realize is that it's not the China we collectively "remember" from 15-20 years ago. Yes there are still millions of VERY poor people, but even if 1% falls into our equivalent of the "upper-middle class" (I'm just saying that as an example, I really don't know the real numbers), with a population of 1.3 billions, that still 13 million people that have enough money to buy tons of expensive gadgets!

 

Also, their family unit (at least in the Middle-east and Asia) is very different from ours, having the grand-parents, parents and childs all under 1 roof is the norm there. So all these people under 1 roof frees up money they would have otherwise spend (only 1 rent/mortgage and other various bills to pay). That's across all classes, so the better the family does, the more money they can save and then spend it on "status symbols" ... while here we see it as either "showing off" or "waste of money" (like having a BMW, a Macbook, an iPad and an iPhone when you're a simple store clerk).

A guy I know saying that an i5 bottlenecks a 950... Because it gets 3 fps more in some games (still not bottleneck, since that with the i5 the GPU is at 100%), also that the bottleneck is caused by windows, and that gap in performance = bottlenecks (O.o)

(I work at a concession stand in my school. A person walks in that I have never seen before.)

Customer: “Doubting a customer? How rude to treat me! I’m bringing my business elsewhere!”

 

Me: *to coworker* “This is why I can’t with people sometimes.”

 

Customer: “What was that? I heard that? Do I need to get a manager involved?”

 

Manager: *heard the whole thing* “Sir, I think you should, in fact, take your business elsewhere.”

 

Customer: “Fine! This isn’t the last you’ve seen of me!”
