DDR3 on skylake? I didn't notice that... That's a horrible choice! You risk frying your mc over the long run...

DDR4 doesn't even cost much more than DDR3 anymore, so there really isn't any good reason for that choice...

yeah pretty much, that's one of the things I find wrong with this build, the DDR3, the water cooling, the T version of the 6100, the SSD ... my list would be this one instead;

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/DFjy4C

almost the same price, but a better GPU, a better PSU, a better SSD, DDR4 instead of DDR3 and for an i3, the stock cooler is more than enough. Or you could sacrifice the PSU and SSD for something cheaper and get a better price (probably even under $700).

At the end of making the part list I think I just stopped even trying to make it unbalanced and was instead just trying to find the most expensive peripherals possible lol.

yes it is, but if you handle lots of pages I would recommend washing your hands afterwards. That's always what I do after I've handled reports (20-40 pages depending) ... but then I'm a bit "obsessive" sometimes (ie: I can never leave a text message "unread" even when it's my wife sending me a "ok" text that I saw pop up on my notification bar ... I know it's "excessive" and yet I can't control it, I really have to open the messaging app to make sure the notification is gone! lol)

I do the same thing.

I once worked on a computer of a customer who said his laptop dosn't boot anymore..

When I tryed to boot it, there was a black screen after the POST and the OS ( win7) cudnt boot.
I then reboot in safemode with network, get malwarebytes and scan.

It founds 35 000 Threats. yeah you read it right : 35 000

It was the biggest infection ive seen lol i had people with like 100, 1000 viruses, but 35 000!!! no wonder why the pc wasnt booting anymore..

Cost her a fresh re-install, she was surprised how fast her laptop actually was . loll

damn people are dumb ...

I'll make this quick, (l)user enters a ticket to replace his laptop, once accepted, there's a form to print, it's not mandatory but helps when we get the laptop.

User printed the form ... but somehow not by using the print button!!! That would be WAYYYY too easy! xD

Ok, so on top of the webform, beside the ticket number, there are 3 buttons;

1 - Print (duh!)

2 - Save (saves the form as a PDF)

3 - Exit (sends you back to the main webpage)

But instead of clicking on "Print" or even "Save" and print it later, he opened Windows "Snipping tool", took a screenshot of the webform, and then printed the screenshot ... WTF?!?!??!?!?

I think this counts as suitable for this topic:

Just a couple days ago I was at Best Buy looking for something (Computer power cord that they didn't have surprise surprise. ?) and I saw a family looking to buy a Mac for their daughter for college.  I tried to suggest they consider a Windows laptop but the sheeple that they were proceeded to say that they are an Apple family and rattled off a list of Apple computers that they own.  I tried to point out that a Mac won't have MS office that would be needed for college work but they just said they use google docs.  As if google docs makes everything ok.  Nope it doesn't.

A few minutes later I saw an employee getting a MacBook (MacBook Air I think it was) out of a locked cage for these sheeple to buy.  I decided it was best to leave because I was having a very hard time not bashing my head into a wall from having to see people be so stupid.  For having sheeple tunnel vision.  Also I was fighting the urge to find more people to save from the "knowledgable" /s Best Buy employees attempts to push people into making poor purchase decisions.

Macs have MS office, and since they already have a bunch of Apple computers and stuff, it WILL make some things easier. I'm not saying I entirely agree with this decision, but I can see how it makes sense. Also, I'm guessing Macs are awesome for college. Great battery life, keyboard, trackpad (actually the new ones with force touch are garbage, but the MBA doesn't have the force touch trackpad).

There are some good uses for Macs, and when you compare them to something like a surface book, they're not overpriced.
