Thunderstorm going on here apparently. Have my computer stuff disconnected entirely. While its said lightning seldom strikes twice, in my opinion, even once is too many. Also, not using my PC anyway, so why not.

The old wives tale that lightning never strikes the same place twice is totally bogus. Depending on conditions, lighting can (and does) strike the same place numerous times. The Empire State Building gets struck by lightning an average of 23 times a year.

We only got a light sprinkling here. It still got cold and windy though.

I’d take cold and windy right now because my AC is not blowing enough cold air even after I cleaned the filters.

I remember Thanksgiving last year. I was visiting in San Marcos. It's amazing how quickly the temperature goes up as one moves away from the coast.

 

In the Phoenix area, we have most of CA beat during the summer. In the Colorado River Valley (think Blight Blythe, CA), it's a dead heat between CA and AZ (pardon the pun).
