Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?

Mitch

Funny thing about this post is. This forum doesn't even exist two years lol.

My biggest regret ever was buying a blackberry torch 9800 instead of an iPhone, man was i dumb.

Then 1 and a half years ago, but it's nearing 2 years. I made an account in February 2013 and the forums were around before then, I don't know how long before.

My previous 4P Folding & current Personal Rig

I once was a poor man, but then I found a crown.

Not high-end, but I feel like I may regret my purchase I'm making today- a Moto G.

Google Edition?

I'm very methodical when shopping for new technology. I can confidently say that extensive research helped me to prevent making a purchase that I've regretted.

My dad bought a macbook pro. I tried to talk him out of it. "We can program in objective-C" he said, "It's good to try another flavor of UNIX" he said. I will never forget that day as long as I live. $2100 down the drain for a dual core with 4 gigs of ram

I talked myself out of buying another 7990 for this reason. Now I'm waiting to see what the 800 series brings.

I kind of regret my Xbox One.  It's an okay media box but I could have worked out other ways and had enough leftover $$$ for SLI or like 1/2 of a Surface Pro 3 or some crap.

I had an almost regret when I was buying parts for my first build and the Asus dcuii 780 was out of stock when I was about to drop $750 on it. Then 2 months later the price dropped to $500 and the 7970 I got instead went up $100 in value because of coin mining haha.

a 7850 for $200. As soon as I clicked order, I felt sick, and I couldn't send it back fast enough.

it was probs cause I only had $200 at the time. (This time it was different, I had a whole $700 when I made my most recent upgrade)
