Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?

Mitch

I regret buying the Aerocool PGS V3.... I should've gone with an Ostrog and a DeepCool Assassin, but I was short on funds...

Razer Lachesis - Looked nice but for what it cost the coating didn't wear well, the sensor was glitchy, the buttons would get stuck (not physically but electrically), the pulsing light had very obvious level steps and the Razer drivers amplified all the problems so I ended up sticking with the generic Windows mouse drivers.

Razer Deathstalker. That thing was mushy as fuck and doing anything on it was horrible. Now I have a Logitech G710+ and it's way better!

Life.exe is missing

Hardware wise:

Corsair Force GT - Horrible SSD for the price, could have gotten a Samsung 830 (back then)

i3 2120 for my Linux box, could have gone with AMD. So much better with Linux.

Razer Onza Xbox Controller for my PC [was the only one they had without ordering another one [wanted wired]] Those buttons are nothing but poo poo. [All ova]

Roccat 5.1 Headset. Came broken out of the box, RMA took 4months, to give me back my money.

Netbook, obvious reasons.

Steelseries Sensei MLG -> 8months after purchase the R-Click was broken.

Games:

Watch Dogs - What a shitty piece of shit.

Frost upon these cigarettes.... lipstick on the window pane...

Razer Blackwidow, it's a fine keyboard, but there are definitely better options for the same price out there. Course I didn't know much about mechanical keyboards at the time, live and learn.

Not strictly computer-part, but I bought a 3DS XL in Feb, used it for about 2 hours. Just can not get into mobile gaming at all.

Dude we regret exactly the same things.

I regret buying the blackwidow 2013, I should've gotten the Corsair K70.

My friend told me to get the 3DS XL in FEBURARY, and I just ditched it after a day.

are you my secret bro

I regretted my NZXT source 530 and sometimes regret getting a 4790 instead of a 4790K. I didn't want to continue waiting so I just ordered it.

I regret buying a Geforce FX 5200, I wanted it to play Doom 3, in reality it wasn't much better than integrated graphics.

My Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013.

And my GTX 760, should have just waited till I could get a 770.

And my surface, because it's terrible (In some cases) and I could have got a Sony product.

Razer Deathadder. It just fell apart and felt like it was made for a price tag of £20, not £50. Will never touch Razer again.

My Alienware M14x R2 2012, at the time I didn't know much about graphic cards and didn't think they would affect my pc performance (Yeah, I was dumb), so I didn't bother changing my GT 650m, which is absolute crap.

PC specs: Sager NP8268, GTX880m w/ 8 GB DDR5 VM, i7-4810MQ 2.8/3.8 GHz, IC Diamond Thermal Compound, 16GB RAM at 1600 MHz 2x8, 256 GB Crucial M550 series mSATA3 SSD, 1TB 7200rpm HD, Killer Wireless, Bluetooth 4.0. Window 8.1 (Because W7 was more expensive)
