I wanted to clean my computer so i stuck a vacuum cleaner in there and killed my 500GB boot drive, was fine though because we spent the whole day driving around my little town looking for a shop that sold hard drives and found a new one, being about 15 i didn't loose anything important.

i used to play poker online, lost a hand and flipped my laptop over forgetting i was on a bench the screen smashed a little.....i was so angry i punched the screen.....screen smashed alot

brought a dell xps 15.....huge mistake

whilst changing my PSU recently i, like the ham fisted ouf that i am, bent one of the pins in the usb 3 socket........i gently managed to tease it back into place and it works but on a 1 month old mobo i was not amused

I built my first computer (about 2000$ of stuff), I did it on the carpet without grounding myself...One of my gpu was not working...don't know why...

Also, I forgot to put the mobo headers...once screwed it was completely bent...Still worked after I fixed it. Nice quality ASUS.

I had my 465 clocked from 600MHz stock to 1000MHz. It outperformed my friend's 270X in benchmarks

Same here. Instead, Ubuntu refuses to even show the login screen. All it fucking shows is the Ubuntu logo and the dots under it just moving along, doing fucking nothing.

Letting Bestbuy "fix" my computer, they fried my motherboard resulting in it nonoperational. Still miss that computer.. Had an Intel i7 860, GTX 260, and 8GB of DDR3 @?. Only thing this dual core machine I have ow is better at lockups, overheating, (Only one) BSOD, smoking, and crashes. Yes I've had this motherboard start smoking with now burnt solders and a damaged capacitor. Might be why it gives me issues.

They stop warranty after you remove it, and the motherboard is three years old.

Flashing the bios of my GPU. Killed my mobo somehow in doing that. Stilllll not sure how that works but whatever. Flashing a bios to a GPU can corrupt mobos now.

Yes. That thing is horrible. After a gaming session when I don't lock up or crash I'll be idling at 50-55C on the CPU... Haven't tried new thermal paste though. Either way if I wanted it I could see if the I7 in a dead computer will post and set it in this Dell motherboard just to hope it doesn't fail me. Then again the dead computer it's sitting in has been in many power losses.. Also your have to send the entire system in, it's old case is gone now.

i changed the cpu in my laptop, and reinstalled the system completly without having the fan spin. the computer ran to hot and stop.
